About Our Doctors

Drs. Mark Kolosionek and Cara Fawcett have been practicing dentistry since graduating from Case Western Reserve University's Dental School in 1985. Dr. Mark spent two years after graduation in a residency program at St. Luke's Hospital in Cleveland. He received extra training to become proficient in areas of dentistry that many times are referred to a specialist.

Both doctors, and the entire staff take numerous post graduate courses to keep abreast of the changes in dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry.

The doctors have been married since 1986 and currently have three daughters. Their oldest daughter graduated from Case Western Reserve Dental School in 2016 and after a one year residency program practices in Canton. Daughter number two graduated from Case Western Reserve University Dental School and is currently in a residency program at St. Vincent Hospital in Cleveland.  The third daughter graduated from Case Western Reserve University Nursing School and is working in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit of University Hospitals in Cleveland. The family values with which they raise their children are the same ideals with which they run their practice. Honesty and integrity are key in providing the highest quality of dental care.

Mark Kolosionek, DDS


Dr. Mark is a general dentist who received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Case Western Reserve University in a highly competitive, accelerated six year program. He was elected a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental fraternity for his excellence in the field of dentistry. Dr. Mark completed a two year residency in advanced general dentistry at St. Luke's Hospital where he was chief resident. Since 1987, he has been in private practice in Hudson.

Dr. Mark is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and the Akron Dental Society, where he is a board member.

Mark has been married to Dr. Cara Fawcett since 1985 with whom he has three daughters. Outside of dentistry, Mark loves to spend time with family, whether grilling on the patio or floating in the pool. He loves to follow the Indians, Browns, and Cavs, but specially the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Cara Fawcett, DDS


Dr. Cara is a general dentist who received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Case Western Reserve University in a highly competitive accelerated six year program.

Upon graduation, she worked in private practice for eight years until she was a stay at home mom with two young children. She returned to practicing dentistry in 1994 in the current Hudson location. Dr. Cara teaches at the Case Western Reserve University dental school two in a half days a week; in the comprehensive care department. She has received recognition awards from both students and staff.

Cara has been married to Dr. Mark Kolosionek since 1986 and has three daughters. In her free time, Cara loves to shop, Zumba, and is an avid reader.
